One from the Heart

“When Francis Ford Coppola makes a love story… don't expect hearts and flowers.”

Hank (Frederic Forrest) and Frannie (Teri Garr) have lived together in Las Vegas for five years, and on their anniversary a fight ends it. By evening each has gone out into the lit-up city, Hank toward an acrobat named Leila (Nastassja Kinski), Frannie toward a musician named Ray (Raúl Juliá). Francis Ford Coppola puts one night on the line, and the whole of those five years rides on whether either of them comes home.
