“Save one life, save the world.”

Nicholas Winton is a London stockbroker, played as a young man by Johnny Flynn, who travels to Czechoslovakia in the 1930s and sees what is coming for the Jewish families there. He starts planning how to get their children out before the war closes the borders. James Hawes cuts between that work and Winton at 79 (Anthony Hopkins), sorting through the papers of it in his own quiet house.
