One Nation, One King

Who decides what happens to a king? In 1789 Paris, Basile (Gaspard Ulliel) and Françoise (Adèle Haenel) are ordinary people who find themselves in the same rooms as Robespierre (Louis Garrel) once the National Assembly is founded. Pierre Schoeller follows them from the storming of the Bastille toward the execution of the king, and the film keeps the two of them close to each other as everything around them shifts.
