“Their quest beginneth.”

Ian Lightfoot (Tom Holland) is a shy teenage elf in a suburban world where magic has faded, and he never got to meet the father who died before he was born. On his sixteenth birthday, his older brother Barley (Chris Pratt) hands him a gift left behind by their dad, a staff that could bring him back for twenty-four hours. Dan Scanlon sends the two on a quest to finish the spell, with Ian carrying the nerves and Barley carrying the enthusiasm.
