Boog (voice, Martin Lawrence), a pampered grizzly bear raised in the suburbs, wakes up abandoned in the forest just as hunting season is about to begin. He meets Elliot (voice, Ashton Kutcher), a scrappy one-antlered mule deer, and the two strike a deal to get back home before the hunters arrive. As they venture deeper into the wild, every mistake pushes them closer to the opening of open season.
