“The 21st Century REAR WINDOW.”

Nick Chambers (Elijah Wood) runs a fan site for the actress Jill Goddard (Sasha Grey) and has won a dinner date with her. When she cancels, a stranger named Chord (Neil Maskell) offers him a way to watch her through her own webcam. Nacho Vigalondo, in his first English-language film, keeps everything on a computer screen, and what Nick sees makes it hard to tell where looking ends and taking part begins.
