Operation Mekong

In 2011, two Chinese cargo ships are found drifting on the Mekong River with thirteen crew members dead aboard. Beijing sends a team led by Gao Gang (Zhang Hanyu) after the cartel responsible, with Fang Xinwu (Eddie Peng) in the field. Dante Lam stages the pursuit as an action film, built on the real 2011 massacre and one of the biggest box-office hits in China that year.
