Operation Mincemeat

In 1943, Ewen Montagu (Colin Firth) and Charles Cholmondeley (Matthew Macfadyen), two British intelligence officers, want the Allies to land in Sicily without the Germans waiting for them. Their idea is to drop a corpse carrying false papers off the coast of Spain and let enemy spies read it as a Greek invasion plan. John Madden follows the pair as they build a dead man a life, and thousands of soldiers' lives ride on whether the lie holds.
