In 1944, a circle of German high command officers is planning an attempt on Hitler's life, and Oberst Claus Graf Schenk v. Stauffenberg (Sebastian Koch) is the one chosen to carry it into the room. Jo Baier made this for German television, and it follows the conspirators as they work out how and when. Stauffenberg keeps going home to his wife, Nina (Nina Kunzendorf), who senses what he cannot say.
