Naho Takamiya (Tao Tsuchiya) wants to speak up more, but she hesitates with everyone, including the new boy in her class. Then a letter arrives, written by her future self, telling her what to say and what to do each day. Kojiro Hashimoto lets the film move quietly between Naho, her circle of friends, and Kakeru Naruse (Kento Yamazaki), the troubled newcomer.
