Original Gangstas

“The original bad boys are stepping up in '96!”

In Gary, Indiana, a street gang called the Rebels has taken over the neighborhood, and it shoots storekeeper Marvin Bookman for talking to the police. His son John (Fred Williamson), a former NFL star who founded the gang years ago, comes home and calls on old friends, among them Jake Trevor (Jim Brown). Larry Cohen films the cast of 70s action veterans as men who share a history, and their loyalty to each other is what drives the fight.
