Orlando
England, 1600. Orlando (Tilda Swinton), a young nobleman who cares more for poetry than for court, catches the eye of Queen Elizabeth I (Quentin Crisp), who promises him land and fortune if he will grant her one very particular request. Sally Potter, adapting Virginia Woolf's 1928 novel, follows him through a world of lovers, envoys and archdukes. Orlando keeps writing and keeps loving, and the years refuse to take him with them.
