“How do enemies find common ground?”

In 1993, the Israelis and the Palestinians have no official way to speak to each other. Mona Juul (Ruth Wilson), a Norwegian diplomat, and her husband Terje Rød-Larsen (Andrew Scott) begin arranging secret talks between the two sides. Bartlett Sher keeps the film to rooms and conversations, and the stakes are plain: one leak and everything the group has built falls apart.
