“Every body needs a hero.”

Osmosis Jones (Chris Rock) is a white blood cell and a beat cop in the city of Frank, a slovenly man whose body is treated like a neglected downtown. A deadly virus named Thrax (Laurence Fishburne) is moving in, and the department wants nothing to do with a hothead. Peter and Bobby Farrelly film Frank's outer life in live action, and Osmosis gets the inside, stuck with Drix (David Hyde Pierce), a cold pill, as his unwilling partner.
