Ossos

A teenage mother gives birth in a Lisbon shantytown and hands the baby to its father, a man too unsteady to be trusted with it. Tina (Mariya Lipkina) and the Father (Nuno Vaz) move through crumbling rooms where Clotilde (Vanda Duarte) and a nurse, Eduarda (Isabel Ruth), are the only people close by. Pedro Costa holds his camera still on the narrow walls and bare floors and lets the people come into frame.
