Othello

“Envy, greed, jealousy and love.”

Othello (Laurence Fishburne) wants to hold on to the love of Desdemona (Irène Jacob) and the trust of the men who serve under him. Iago (Kenneth Branagh) stands closest, calling himself Othello's friend while quietly steering him toward his own ends. Oliver Parker adapts Shakespeare's play, and everything Othello values is now within reach of the one man who means to use it.
