Our Children

Murielle (Émilie Dequenne) is young, with a future ahead of her, and what she wants is a family of her own with Mounir (Tahar Rahim), the man she marries soon after they meet. His adoptive father, Doctor Pinget (Niels Arestrup), has long provided for Mounir, and as the children arrive, the house he pays for grows tighter around all of them. Joachim Lafosse keeps the couple and the doctor in the same rooms, where the ties between them show in every shared meal.
