Our Family

“Story of Yasar Usta and his family.”

Why would a rich girl's father go to war with a poor boy's family over a marriage? In Our Family, that fight sits at the center of the household. Yaşar (Münir Özkul) and Melek (Adile Naşit) stand with their son against the father who wants the match stopped. Ergin Orbey keeps the camera in the family's cramped rooms, where the whole clan crowds into every scene.
