“To have and to hold... 'Til dads do us part.”

In the weeks before a Los Angeles wedding, Lucia Ramirez (America Ferrera) and Marcus Boyd (Lance Gross) have a date set and two families to bring together. Their fathers, Brad Boyd (Forest Whitaker) and Miguel Ramirez (Carlos Mencia), already have a feud, and Rick Famuyiwa lets it spill into every planning meeting. Lucia and Marcus keep trying to hold the day together while the men dig in.
