Our Friend

In a house where the days have been counted at six months, Nicole (Dakota Johnson) is dying of cancer, and her husband Matthew (Casey Affleck) is trying to hold the family together. His best friend Dane (Jason Segel) moves in to help with the kids and the long hours. Gabriela Cowperthwaite builds the film around the friendship, one given freely and one that the Teagues have no idea how to repay.
