Our Hope Is Şaban

Ringo Şaban (Kemal Sunal) wants to be known as the man who can take care of things in his village, the one people turn to when trouble comes. Kartal Tibet sets him among Cemo (Yadigar Ejder), Canan Halkakul (Serpil Nur) and a muhtar, Yaşar Şereflikoç (Alpay İzer), who all have their own ideas about what he is good for. The film is about an ordinary man trying to live up to the hope his neighbours put in him.
