Our Ladies

“The sisters of no mercy.”

A busload of Catholic schoolgirls heads into Edinburgh in 1996 for a choir competition, and Orla (Tallulah Greive) and Finnoula (Abigail Lawrie) have packed drinks and plans for the night instead. Michael Caton-Jones, adapting Alan Warner's novel, follows the whole group through a day that has little to do with singing. Under the jokes and the banter, they are friends who already sense how little time they have left together.
