Our Story

“Like all good stories, you have to let yourself be carried away.”

Robert Avranche (Alain Delon), a middle-aged garage owner who drinks too much, sits alone on a train thinking over how little his life has come to. A young woman (Nathalie Baye) steps into his compartment, offers to sleep with him, then gets off, and he climbs down after her. Bertrand Blier keeps the story drifting between the two of them, never sure where either is headed.
