Out of Darkness

“The dawn of man. The birth of fear.”

A small band of early humans crosses a bare landscape in the Old Stone Age, searching for a new land after leaving their old one behind. Beyah (Safia Oakley-Green) and Adem (Chuku Modu) travel with the others, and as the group moves on, they come to suspect a malevolent, mystical being is hunting them. Andrew Cumming's film is about people who have only each other, and what that holds against a danger they never expected.
