Out of Nature

“Who are you when no one is watching?”

Martin (Ole Giæver) is a father in his thirties in a small Norwegian town, and he feels like a stranger in his own life. He packs up for a weekend alone in the mountains, leaving the job and the family behind for a hiking trip. Giæver, who also wrote the film, holds the camera on Martin among the trees and rock as the only voice left is his own.
