Out of the Past

“OUT of the Sun, OUT of the Moonlight, OUT of the Past.”

Jeff Bailey (Robert Mitchum) runs a gas station in a small town, and he has built a quiet life there with Ann Miller (Virginia Huston). Jacques Tourneur frames Jeff as a tired man at the pump, his name already an alias.
