“Evil runs in the blood”

Mary (Kate Dickie) and her teenage son Fergal have just moved into another rented home on the edge of a Scottish housing estate, their third in a short while. Colm McCarthy follows them as Cathal (James Nesbitt) picks up their trail, using dark arts to close the distance. Mary has only her own old magic to shield the boy, and the killings that start around them leave her holding on to him tighter.
