“To save their souls they must save a kingdom.”

Jacob (Hayden Christensen) is a warrior who drifted east and now lives as a drunk, until he is drawn into the escape of a deposed Emperor's children. They are Lian (Liu Yifei) and her young brother, and an older brother wants both of them dead. Nick Powell, in his first feature, puts a sword fighter at the center of it, and what the film wants is whether a man who has quit can still be of use.
