“It destroyed his world. He won't let it destroy ours.”

A spaceship fell out of the sky and into Iron Age Norway, and the creature it carried inside is hunting the Viking villages. Kainan (Jim Caviezel), the stranger who crash-landed with it, has to persuade Rothgar (John Hurt) and the warriors around Wulfric (Jack Huston) to fight beside him, with Freya (Sophia Myles) among those he finds there. Howard McCain builds the film loosely on Beowulf and sets the creature loose in the dark.
