“One wrong move and it's all out war.”

A quarrel between two yakuza families turns into open war when Otomo (Takeshi Kitano), a hardened gangster, is betrayed by his own bosses. Takeshi Kitano writes, directs and stars, and the film competed for the Palme d'Or at Cannes in 2010. Otomo takes the fight to everyone standing between him and the top, and his face stays flat while the bodies pile up around him.
