Outside Satan

Le gars (David Dewaele) lives alone on the Côte d'Opale, a wanderer from nowhere who poaches, prays and builds fires. He sleeps out among the dunes and marshes near a small hamlet, and he gets by on very little. Bruno Dumont stays close to him and gives away almost nothing about who he was, so a man with no past, no name beyond Le gars, is all we have.
