Overboard

“From opulence... to rags... to love.”

Joanna Stayton (Goldie Hawn) is a spoiled heiress cruising the Oregon Coast on her yacht, and she hires the carpenter Dean Proffitt (Kurt Russell) to build a closet, then refuses to pay him. When she falls overboard and wakes with no memory, Dean sees his chance to settle the debt. Garry Marshall sets Joanna down in a crowded working-class house, where she learns to cook, scrub and answer to a new name, and the woman who once barked orders has to start from nothing.
