Overlord

“Code name, D-Day, June 6th 1944”

Tom (Brian Stirner) is called up and begins his army training in 1944, and from the first weeks he is certain that his own death is coming for him. He drills and sleeps among other recruits, among them Jack (Davyd Harries), while D-Day, June 6th, draws closer. Stuart Cooper shoots it in grainy black and white, and the film moves with the same unease as Tom.
