Owning Mahowny

“The true story of a mild mannered banker and his magnificent obsession.”

Dan Mahowny (Philip Seymour Hoffman) wants a bet down. He is the assistant manager of a major bank branch in downtown Toronto, a quiet man his colleagues and his girlfriend Belinda (Minnie Driver) know as shy and dependable, and the money he moves for his gambling is not his. Richard Kwietniowski stays with him through the offices and the casino floor, where Frank Perlin (Maury Chaykin) waits to take his action.
