“Innocence can be a dangerous thing to lose.”

Dau (Suangporn Jaturaphut) is a young orphan raised by her sick grandmother, who has taught her a kind of magic. When the old woman can no longer look after her, Dau goes to seedy Bangkok to find work and meets a string of unsavory people, among them Pookie (Opal). Paul Spurrier's film follows what she does with that inheritance, and the people around her stand to lose a great deal.
