Package Tour

“Finns det svenskt kaffe på grisfesten”

Why would a man like Stig-Helmer Olsson (Lasse Åberg) book a charter trip to the Canary Islands for Christmas, and what is he hoping to find there? He lands among his fellow Swedes beside Ole Bramserud (Jon Skolmen), with Lasse Åberg directing his own first film about the package holiday. Since 1980 the film has been quoted so often that many Swedes know its lines by heart, a joke about how far people travel to stay close to home.
