Pacto de Fuga

“Based on the most daring prison escape of all time.”

Leon Vargas (Benjamín Vicuña) is a militant of the Manuel Rodríguez Patriotic Front, and in the last years of Pinochet's regime he helps plan a way to free political prisoners from the Public Jail of Santiago. The plan is a tunnel, and it will take eighteen months to dig. David Albala works from the true story of the 1990 escape, keeping the cramped digging and the waiting that follows close and airless.
