Paganini
All of nineteenth-century Europe is in a frenzy over Niccolo Paganini (Klaus Kinski), the violinist crowds call the devil. Around him move Antonia Bianchi (Debora Caprioglio), Helene von Feuerbach (Dalila Di Lazzaro) and his young son Achille (Nikolai Kinski, the director's own son). Kinski directed and starred in this only film he ever made behind the camera, and he gives the whole thing the feverish pitch of a man performing on the edge of collapse.
