“The American Dream... Their way.”

Ace (Wood Harris) is a young man who works at a Harlem dry cleaner and wants more than the steady, small pay it gives him. Then his friend Mitch (Mekhi Phifer) goes to prison, and a stash of cocaine turns up in a pair of pants left at the shop. Charles Stone III follows Ace and his flashy friend Rico (Cam'ron), whose loyalty gets tested the higher they climb.
