Pain Hustlers

“An American excess story.”

A failing pharmaceutical company in Central Florida offers Liza Drake (Emily Blunt), a single mother who has just lost her job, a way to earn real money fast. Pete Brenner (Chris Evans) brings her in to sell a prescription painkiller, and David Yates, working from the story of the real Insys Therapeutics, follows her into a world of easy cash and doctors like Dr. Neel (Andy Garcia). It is a story about what people will sign off on when the rent is due.
