Painless

“Pain is their medicine”

David (Àlex Brendemühl) is a neurosurgeon in modern Catalonia, good at his work and in need of an answer for a serious condition of his own. His search leads back to a secret buried in the past, to a story that unfolds across the Spanish Civil War, where children are kept apart from the world. Juan Carlos Medina, in his first feature, cuts between the two eras, and David follows the trail further into the dark.
