Paint It Black

Josie (Alia Shawkat) is a young woman whose boyfriend Michael (Rhys Wakefield), a painter, has just killed himself. She and his mother, Meredith (Janet McTeer), each hold the other responsible, yet neither can stay away. Amber Tamblyn's film is about how grief ties two people together who have every reason to part, each one holding the only living memory of the man the other lost.
