“The critically-acclaimed story of three young men growing from a traditional Chinese theatrical school to stardom in Hong Kong's thriving film industry.”

The China Drama Academy is a Peking Opera school in Hong Kong, where boys who will one day be Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao train under their teacher, Master Yu Jim-yuen (Sammo Hung Kam-bo). Alex Law Kai-yui follows Master Yu and his pupils through the drilling and discipline of their daily lessons. It is the story of an art taught the hard way, and of the people who gave their childhoods to it.
