Painted Skin: The Resurrection

In a fantasy China where demons take hundreds of years to reach human form, the fox spirit Xiao Wei (Zhou Xun) is still waiting for the one thing she lacks, a human heart. Wuershan stages her hunt among the palace of Princess Jing (Zhao Wei) and the general Huo Xin (Chen Kun), with Que'er (Yang Mi) and Pang Lang (William Feng) close by. The old legend says a demon can only become mortal if a pure heart is freely given, never taken.
