Pale Rider

“...and hell followed with him.”

A stranger rides down out of the hills on a pale horse, wearing a preacher's collar, and no one in the prospector camp can say where he came from. Clint Eastwood directs himself as the Preacher, who takes in with Hull Barret (Michael Moriarty) and his neighbors just as Coy LaHood (Richard Dysart) pushes his mining company to drive them off their claims. The prospectors have little but their land and a few tools, and the company has enough men to take it.
