“Live like there's no tomorrow”

Nyles (Andy Samberg) wakes up at a wedding in Palm Springs and navigates the day with the ease of someone who has lived it before. When Sarah (Cristin Milioti) follows him into the desert after the reception, she learns why: they are both trapped in the same day, repeating it endlessly. Max Barbakow shoots the bright, resort-town scenery with a deadpan precision, letting the comedy and dread arrive from the same place.
