Palm Trees and Power Lines

Lea (Lily McInerny) is seventeen and spends her summer break tanning in the backyard, trailing her best friend and the boys from school, and tiptoeing around her needy mother. She wants a way out of those aimless days, and then Tom (Jonathan Tucker), a man twice her age, offers one. Jamie Dack keeps Lea in the frame as she goes along with him, the backyard and the afternoons she is leaving still close behind.
