Pandora's Box

Nusret (Tsilla Chelton), an elderly woman, wants nothing more than to be left in her own house, even as her memory begins to slip. Her grown children in Istanbul, among them Nesrin (Derya Alabora), have to take her in and work out who will carry the burden, old resentments and all. Yeşim Ustaoğlu shows how a family that has kept its distance is pulled back together by a parent who no longer knows quite who they are.
