Paper Lives

In Istanbul, Mehmet (Çağatay Ulusoy) works at a waste warehouse, sorting the city's paper and cardboard while his health slowly fails. He takes a small boy named Ali (Emir Ali Doğrul) under his wing, and caring for the child pulls up the traumatic childhood Mehmet has kept buried. Can Ulkay follows the two of them through the streets, with Mehmet always carrying the paper.
