Parachute Jumper
“Seventy-five Smackers a Jump- and Most of it Goes to Widows!”
Bill Keller (Douglas Fairbanks Jr.) has been washed out of the Air Force, and neither jobs nor money are turning up in the Depression. He and his buddy Toodles Cooper (Frank McHugh) share a room with Alabama (Bette Davis), and when the work finally comes, it comes from the mob. Alfred E. Green's film is about what people will take on when the plain choices run out.
